About The Role

In this role, you’ll support projects across the ACT, including regular site visits to assess safety performance and engage directly with clients to provide updates on SHEQ initiatives. You’ll drive positive change and foster a proactive culture of safety and continuous improvement across Ventia’s workforce. Additionally, you'll:

Participation on HSE consultative committees and maintain key client relationships to a high standardWorking collaboratively across the contract, implement the Health and Safety management plans, emergency response and business continuity planningImplement the project Health and Safety objectives by conducting thorough site inspections and accurately recording the findingsMonitor & report on quality of works via audits,



review non-conformances and take corrective action to ensure prompt closureConducting investigations into incidents and accidents to determine root causes and contributing factorsLead and manage ICAM and Serious Incident investigations and drive learnings into the site and wider business as requiredUndertake reasonable travel throughout NSW as required

Are you our next SHEQ Advisor?

Current Drivers LicenceProven work experience in WHS, environmental and or quality role, preferably within services maintenance or constructionQualification in Workplace/ Occupation Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene and Health, Environmental or Quality EquivalentTraining in Environment and/or Quality management systemsDetailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements and ISO standards within a high risk construction environment
