WORK HEALTH SAFETY & RISK MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR
Full time, five (5) year fixed term contract

Mid Murray Council is seeking an experienced, suitably qualified and highly motivated WHS & Risk Management Coordinator to provide leadership and specialist advice across all aspects of Council’s WHS & Risk Management Systems.

Council is open to negotiating the position location with the preferred candidate.

About the role

Reporting to the Director Corporate & Financial Services, the WHS & Risk Management Coordinator’s key focus areas are to:

- Manage WHS, risk, insurance and business continuity functions.

- Provide specialist advice and support.

- Lead WHS and risk systems and initiatives.

- Promote a strong safety and risk culture.

- Support legislative compliance, organisational resilience and continuous improvement
