We are seeking a reliable Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at the Pennington Eye Clinic in North Adelaide.
This is a casual/part-time position with the potential to work up to 4 days per week, offering flexibility within a supportive and professional medical environment. You will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our patients and the broader medical team.
What you'll be doing
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures
- Manage patient records and databases in accordance with medical regulations
- Process patient payments, invoices and claims
- Liaise with medical professionals and other healthcare providers as required
- Provide general administrative support to the clinic
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Administrator, ideally within the healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff and other stakeholders
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail to ensure efficient and accurate record-keeping
- Proficient in using medical administration software and general office technology
- A team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
