Your opportunity:

Consulting means no two days look the same!

You'll work with a range of clients across different industries, use your IR and ER skills against real and varied workplace issues, and grow your expertise faster than you would sitting inside one organisation's HR function. Your work will span:

Advisory & Compliance

- Partnering with clients to maintain compliant and positive workplace practices

- Assisting clients to maintain employment compliance with Awards, legislation and industrial instruments

- Conducting Better Off Overall Test (BOOT) calculations and interpreting award obligations

- Preparing employment contracts, workplace policies and related HR documentation

Employee Relations

- Providing practical HR and IR advice via phone, email and client meetings

- Supporting clients to manage workplace grievances, performance matters, disciplinaries and terminations, including process management, meeting facilitation and drafting documents.

- Undertaking workplace investigations and report writing





- Representing clients in Fair Work conciliations and negotiating outcomes on their behalf

Client Relationship & Training

- Delivering HR package services to clients, ensuring effective implementation, ongoing client engagement and utilisation of systems and tools

- Delivering presentations and training sessions on HR and IR topics

To be successful in this role:

You must have the ability to interpret IR and HR requirements and translate them into practical, commercially relevant and client-focused solutions.

You will be confident building trusted relationships with clients and delivering advice in a personal, pragmatic and approachable manner.

- A genuine passion for helping people and building strong client relationships

- Demonstrated Industrial Relations experience providing advice within the private sector

- Strong and confident knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations frameworks

- Proven experience in Award interpretation, employment contract drafting and Fair Work representation

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline

- Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with professionalism and attention to detail

- A current driver's licence and willingness to attend client sites as required
