Quality & Risk Officer – Aged Care (6-Month Contract)
An exciting opportunity is available for a Quality & Risk Officer to join a well-established aged care provider in the Barossa Region. Open to both clinical and non-clinical candidates with relevant experience

What you will be doing
- Develop and implement policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements
- Support audit preparation and accreditation activities
- Track and manage corrective actions (CA) and continuous improvement (CI) registers
- Coordinate audit logistics, documentation, and scheduling
- Maintain and manage documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Compile and analyse data for quality and risk reporting
- Support staff with guidance on quality systems and compliance processes
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ensure policies and documentation meet QMS and regulatory standards
- Support internal and external audit processes and assurance activities
About You
- Experience in aged care (residential, community, or retirement living) High Desirable
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory requirements
- Clinical background (RN or EN) highly regarded but not essential
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 31000 (Risk Management) desirable
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and systems skills
- Strong documentation, organisational, and data analysis capability
