Your new opportunity

We’re seeking a Cadet Building Surveyor to join our Perth office. This is a hands-on role for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to develop their career in building surveying and compliance across a wide range of commercial, residential, industrial and public-sector projects.

You’ll be supported by experienced Building Surveyors and senior consultants, gaining exposure to assessments under the National Construction Code and other relevant legislation.

What you’ll bring

• Previous experience in building surveying or a related field is desirable

• Existing enrolment or willingness to enrol in tertiary studies in Building Surveying or Construction Management

• An interest in building compliance and construction legislatio

• Willingness to learn, take direction and work as part of a team

• Clear written and verbal communication skills,



strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving

• Ability to manage time and meet project deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

What you’ll be doing

Under the guidance of senior professionals, you will:

• Assist with NCC/BCA assessments and technical reporting

• Support preparation and tracking of documentation for permits and approvals

• Attend site inspections and contribute to inspection records and compliance reports

• Maintain and organise project files, registers and compliance documentation

• Provide administrative and coordination support (data entry, document formatting, correspondence)

• Gain exposure to client communication and project workflows across diverse sectors
