About the role
- Based in Workshop in O’Connor
- Ad-hoc site work within W.A on Oil and Gas Facilities
- Join an experienced team of highly skilled tradesman
- 8-10 hour days
Key Responsibilities
- Interpretation of isometrics/drawings and assembly of complex piping systems including interpreting flange tables with inclinations/offsets
- Experienced with site pipe fitting practices, ensuring spools fit correctly from start to finish and weld prep/alignment is within acceptable tolerances
- Experience with onsite mechanical fitting practices including the use of hydraulic torque equipment, battery rad guns
- Installation and alignment of piping packages, including spools, flanges, valves and pipe supports
- Site installation of supports and associated pipework infrastructure
About You
- Trade qualified in pipe fitting/mechanical fitting/ boilermaking
- Experience in oil and gas, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Pro-active in maintaining a safe work environment including housekeeping activities
- Skilled attitude, take accountability and pride in own work
