The Role
Every day is different.
Depending on your experience and interests, your work may include:
Workshop
- Industrial switchboard and control panel construction
- Testing and quality assurance
- Workshop organisation and continuous improvement (5S)
- Material management and BOM preparation
Field Services
- Electrical fault finding
- Commissioning industrial electrical equipment
- Preventative maintenance
- Customer support
- Interstate project work (occasional)
Control Systems & EMS
- PLC and HMI commissioning
- Variable speed drives
- Power monitoring systems
- Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert (PME)
- Energy Management Systems
- UPS systems
- Metering installations
- Technical documentation
- FATs, SATs and as-built documentation
About You
You might be:
- An Electrician wanting something more technical.
- A Service Technician looking for more variety.
- A Panel Builder wanting field experience.
- A Controls Technician wanting to expand into engineering.
- An Engineering Graduate who enjoys being hands-on.
We're more interested in attitude than ticking every technical box.
You'll probably have experience with some of the following:
- Electrical panel building
- Industrial electrical installations
- PLCs (Schneider, Allen Bradley, Omron or Siemens)
- Variable speed drives
- Industrial communications
- Electrical testing and commissioning
- Reading electrical drawings
- AutoCAD or electrical drafting
- Microsoft 365
- Quality documentation
Essential requirements:
- Australian Electrical Licence or relevant Engineering qualification
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights
- Strong communication skills
- Pride in your work and attention to detail
