About the Role
As a Plumbing Trades Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of licensed Plumbers and Gas Technicians on tasks such as:
- Supporting plumbing and gas service, repairs and installations
- Assisting with hot water system installs, changeovers and upgrades
- Drain cleaning and tap, toilet and sink changeovers
- Site preparation, dismantling and clean‑up
- Transporting materials, tools and equipment
- Stocktaking and maintaining workshop and service vehicles
- Working diligently and responsively assisting and learning from the qualified technicians
About You
- English speaking to a minimum satisfactory level
- Australian Driver’s Licence required
- Experienced and overseas licenced or specifically trained in residential plumbing
- Must be located in Australia or willing to live long term in Adelaide
- Family‑orientated, reliable and looking for sponsorship pathways to permanent residency
- Healthy and Hard‑working with solid self‑management
- Able to work safely, unsupervised, follow direction and maintain high standards
- Communication skills, able to use mobile phone/tablet and computer literate
