About the Role
As an Electrical Trades Assistant, you’ll work under the guidance of licensed Electricians and Energy Technicians on tasks such as:
- Electrical service support — assisting with residential electrical repairs, maintenance and installations
- Switchboard and wiring assistance — helping with upgrades, cable runs and safe isolation
- Site preparation and clean‑up
- Transporting materials and equipment
- Stocktaking and vehicle/workshop maintenance
- Learning from qualified technicians while working diligently and safely
About You
- English speaking to a satisfactory level
- Australian Driver’s Licence required
- Experienced or overseas‑trained in electrical work (residential preferred)
- Located in Australia or willing to live long‑term in Adelaide
- Family‑orientated, reliable and seeking stable, long‑term employment
- Healthy, hard‑working and self‑managed
- Able to work safely, unsupervised, follow direction and maintain high standards
- Computer literate and confident using mobile/tablet devices for job management
