Equipment Specialist | Service Lead

We are seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our team as our Equipment Specialist | Service Lead.

Ideally, you will have a trade background as a Fitter or Mechanical Engineer, with a strong desire to expand your skill set and develop within the drilling and solids control industry.

This is a dynamic and hands-on role that blends workshop expertise, technical leadership, and field-based experience.

You won’t just be maintaining equipment, you will be owning, improving, and shaping the future of advanced systems such as our Solids Removal Modules (SRMs).

The role includes a mix of workshop-based activities and travel, both locally, nationally, and internationally, to support clients and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the fabrication and quality of all equipment and associated products

Provide aftermarket support and lead resolution of chronic equipment breakdowns

Lead and manage planned maintenance programs across the Equipment Division

Drive product development initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Support inspection, maintenance, and reliability programs

Establish and maintain engineering standards and best practices

Train operators in the safe and correct operation of equipment as required

Coordinate and manage improvement and optimisation (CAPEX) projects

Engage and collaborate with preferred suppliers (engineering, fabrication, electrical, and electronic)

Manage contractors and ensure safety, quality,



and compliance

Maintain inventory levels and critical spare parts availability

Maintain documentation for compliance, servicing, rentals, and invoicing

Act as the primary client interface for technical support, troubleshooting and parts and sales support

Ensure adherence to OHSE and quality standards across all activities

Monitor expenses and assist with budgeting and financial performance

Prepare regular operational and financial reports

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture

You will be part of a small, highly specialised team, where you will receive comprehensive training and support to succeed and grow within the role.
