An excellent prospect exists for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join a major renewable energy infrastructure project delivering utility-scale power generation and high-voltage electrical assets.
Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams, you will provide engineering support across detailed design, construction, commissioning, energisation and final project handover.
Responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering throughout project delivery
- Review electrical designs and contractor submissions
- Resolve RFIs, technical queries and design issues
- Monitor construction progress against schedule and budget
- Coordinate engineering interfaces between contractors, consultants and OEMs
- Support FATs, SATs and commissioning activities
- Review ITPs, commissioning documentation and as-built records
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements
- Manage quality, defects and commissioning punch lists
- Provide technical leadership across HV electrical systems
Experience Required
- Electrical Engineering degree
- 5+ years' experience delivering major electrical infrastructure projects
- HV Substations
- Power Distribution
- Protection & Control
- Switchgear
- Transformers
- Utility-scale Solar (preferred)
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (preferred)
- Commissioning and Energisation experience
- Contractor management experience
Desirable
- CPEng (or working towards)
- Mining experience
- Renewable Energy experience
