About the Role

We're looking for a proactive Purchasing / Expediting Officer to keep our modular manufacturing and project delivery schedules running on time. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you'll own the timely, cost-effective procurement and delivery of the materials, components, and services that keep production moving, making sure a build is never held up by a material shortage.

It's a hands-on role at the heart of our supply chain. You'll raise and manage purchase orders, actively chase suppliers to secure on-time delivery.

What You'll Do

- Raise, issue, and manage purchase orders, and compare supplier quotes to secure the best value across price, quality, and lead-time

- Proactively track open orders and expedite suppliers to ensure on-time, in-full delivery





- Monitor production and project schedules to prioritise critical-path materials and prevent shortages

- Identify delivery risks early and drive recovery actions to protect build timelines

- Coordinate inbound freight, logistics, and customs clearance for domestic and international orders

- Build strong working relationships with key suppliers

- Support sourcing, qualification, and onboarding of recent suppliers

What You'll Bring

- 2–3+ years' experience in a purchasing, procurement, or expediting role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or construction

- Proven experience raising and managing purchase orders and expediting deliveries to schedule

- Confidence working with an ERP / MRP or procurement and inventory system

- A proactive, detail-focused approach and the communication skills to keep suppliers and internal teams aligned
