We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Service Design Lead to join a high-profile government transformation program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex operational challenges, improving business processes, and designing practical, future-focused service solutions.
About the Role
You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond traditional systems analysis, requiring you to design processes, workflows and service improvements that can be successfully implemented.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and document current-state business processes and customer journeysDesign future-state operating models, workflows and service arrangementsDevelop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and business rulesFacilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across all levelsProduce process maps, service blueprints and supporting documentationIdentify opportunities for operational improvement and prioritise initiativesSupport testing,



implementation and business adoption of agreed solutionsProvide explicit recommendations to senior stakeholders and business leaders.
About YouYou'll bring:Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Process Analyst or Service DesignerStrong business process mapping and workflow analysis skillsExperience translating complex business problems into practical solutionsExcellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skillsThe ability to work across people, process, technology and dataExperience developing business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteriaStrong written communication and documentation skills.
Desirable ExperienceExperience within government or highly regulated environments is advantageous, along with exposure to:CRM or case management platformsService design and customer journey mappingContinuous improvement initiativesOperational transformation programsTarget operating model implementation.
