About the Role

We're seeking a motivated and reliable Chef who takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen.

You'll work alongside an experienced team preparing fresh ingredients, cooking to high standards, and helping maintain the systems that have made Downtown a local favourite for over a decade.

What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing and cooking our full menu to a high standard

- Assisting with daily food preparation

- Maintaining exceptional food safety and cleanliness standards

- Working efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services

- Supporting stock control and minimising waste

- Contributing ideas to improve kitchen operations

- Helping train and mentor junior kitchen staff

What We're Looking For

- Qualified Chef (or equivalent experience)





- Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

- Ability to remain calm under pressure

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- High attention to detail

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Team player who enjoys working with others

- Passion for producing quality food every service
