Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join our After-Hours Telephone Triage Service. This is a 100% remote position.
This opportunity is ideally suited to Registered Nurses who are currently employed by Miwatj Health or who have previous experience delivering healthcare across East Arnhem Land.
This innovative service supports the delivery of protected, consistent and culturally appropriate after-hours care for the communities of Galiwinku, Gapuwiyak, Milingimbi and Ramingining.
Working from home, the Telephone Triage Registered Nurses provide after-hours clinical assessment, telephone triage, risk identification and care prioritisation using the Manchester Triage System (MTS), the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual and Miwatj clinical policies.
The service works in partnership with Remote Area Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners and Medical Officers to support timely clinical decision-making and continuity of care.
