Roto Mould Operator | Ongoing Casual with Full-Time Opportunity

Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer specialising in rotationally moulded polyethylene products. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Roto Mould Operators to join their production team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing casual position with the view to transitioning to permanent full-time employment after approximately three months, subject to performance and attendance.

About the Role

As a Roto Mould Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality polyethylene water tanks and related products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare moulds and load the correct quantity of polyethylene material.
- Operate rotational moulding machinery through heating, rotation and cooling cycles.
- Safely remove finished products from moulds.
- Trim and finish moulded products to specification.
- Install fittings, lids and associated components.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials, moulds and finished products.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any equipment or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or factory environment.
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Experience operating forklifts safely in an industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with machinery.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- The ability to perform physically demanding work.
- A reliable work history and strong attendance record.




- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Training & Shift Requirements

Training will be completed on the day shift (7:00am – 3:00pm) to ensure you're fully supported while learning the processes and equipment.

Once training has been successfully completed, you must be available to transition permanently to one of the following shifts:

- Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:00am

Flexibility to work either afternoon or night shift is essential.

Pre-Employment Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.

- Provide proof of a current Forklift Licence.
