We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant to join our workshop team supporting our Heavy Plant and Truck Mechanic.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to build mechanical experience, or is looking to start a career in the heavy vehicle or plant industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting mechanic with servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy trucks and earthmoving plant

- Cleaning and preparing parts, tools, and work areas

- Moving equipment and parts within the workshop

- Basic mechanical tasks under supervision

- Workshop housekeeping and general yard duties

- Following all safety procedures and workshop standards

About You





- Mechanical aptitude or interest in trucks and earthmoving plant

- Previous workshop experience preferred

- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

- Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Driver’s licence essential
