Female Disability Support Worker (Entry Level Welcome)
SOS Care SA is a family-owned NDIS provider based on the Fleurieu Peninsula. We’re looking for a caring, reliable and motivated female support worker to join our growing team.
You don’t need a Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability to apply. If you’re the right fit, we’ll support you to complete your qualification, provide your placement with us, and help you become a qualified support worker. Once you’re qualified, you’ll receive a pay increase.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone with excellent availability who genuinely wants to work.
- A team member who is adaptable and able to pick up any additional shifts when needed.
- Someone looking for a long-term career with one employer.
- A positive, compassionate person who enjoys helping others live their best life.
The role includes:
- Personal care
- Community access and social support
- Domestic assistance
- Transporting participants
- Swimming and hydrotherapy support
- Active overnight shifts
- Supporting participants with a wide range of disabilities
Essential requirements:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain before commencing)
Before starting shifts, successful applicants will also complete our mandatory induction training, including:
- Manual Handling
- Medication Assistance
- Infection Control
- Understanding Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation
- NDIS Quality & Safeguards Modules
- Shadow shifts with qualified support workers
