About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Niepe team in Perth. In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of civil infrastructure and structural packages, with a focus on reinforced concrete, advanced materials and specialist construction methodologies such as FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) systems. You will work across planning, coordination and on-site execution to ensure safe, productive and high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver structural and civil construction activities in line with project programsPrepare, review and implement project documentation including ITPs, SWMS and methodologiesProvide technical engineering support across structures, including concrete, FRP strengthening and structural elementsReview drawings, specifications and design documentation, resolving technical queries and constructability issuesMonitor project progress, productivity, costs and quality performance against targetsManage subcontractors, suppliers and site interfaces to ensure efficient delivery of worksSupport procurement activities, including scope development,
package coordination and material trackingEnsure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards across all activitiesConduct site inspections, quality checks and coordinate testing requirements in line with project specificationsBuild strong working relationships with internal teams, designers and client representatives
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringProven experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure projectsStrong background in structures, reinforced concrete or structural engineering worksExposure to FRP systems, structural strengthening or specialist materials (highly regarded)Solid understanding of construction methodologies, QA/QC processes and project delivery requirementsExperience preparing and managing ITPs, SWMS and engineering documentationStrong commercial awareness with exposure to cost control and forecastingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to problem-solve, prioritise and drive outcomes on siteAbility to work across projects in Perth and FIFO across WA
