MiFertility is a reputed unique Fertility Clinic in Perth dedicated to providing high quality, personalised fertility treatment to all patients using advanced gynaecological ultrasound to allow comprehensive assessment of all patients.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, warm and highly motivated Receptionist-Patient Care Coordinator for our clinic in Ascot. You will be working alongside a Fertility Specialist, providing assistance in the ultrasound room in addition to the Reception duties and coordinating fertility and IVF treatment with Fertility Nurses and wider Fertility Team to ensure smooth patient journey delivering exceptional patient experience focussing on compassion and care for our fertility patients.
Job Description:
The casual position is for 3 days a week(Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with warmth
- Answer incoming calls & handle enquiries in a courteous manner
- Deal with all fertility patients in a compassionate manner
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Assist patients with forms and necessary documentation
- Billing and Medicare rebate processing
- Coordinate patient care-liaise with patients, GP practices, Fertility Nurses and associated IVF unit and pathology labs.
- Keep the consultation-ultrasound room well- organised and tidy
- Prepare the room and scan machines for appointments to help run the list as scheduled
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise work under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Essential Minimum Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deliver compassionate care

- Able to multi task and work effectively as part of a team
- Be versatile and available to cover shifts with short notice
- Keyboard skills and knowledge of IT, current office software packages
- A good work ethic and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm to grow and develop with the practice
- Have a positive, can-do attitude
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous healthcare experience
- Understanding of medical terminology, specifically regarding Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Knowledge of medical billing system
