Sunny Boys Solar is a growing, customer-focused solar and battery installation company delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions to homes and businesses. We’re looking for a qualified SAA Solar & Battery Accredited Electrician to join our team and help us continue delivering outstanding installations and service.

5K SIGN ON BONUS PAID AFTER 12 MONTHS(if training needed) or 6 months if battery and solar accredited already

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV and battery storage systems, working as part of a professional and supportive team. This role suits someone who takes pride in their workmanship and values safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and commission residential and commercial solar PV systems

- Install and commission battery storage systems

- Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS standards and Clean Energy Regulator requirements

- Complete electrical testing, system fault-finding, and troubleshooting

- Maintain accurate job documentation and compliance paperwork

- Provide professional service and clear communication with customers

- Work safely at heights and follow all WHS procedures

About You

- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence





- SAA Solar PV Accreditation (Battery and Solar endorsement essential or willingness to obtain) if need to be trained you will be on $45 an hour until qualified and able to sign off as an SAA installer. As each training course is completed you go up $5 an hour

- Courses paid for saa solar and battery

- Clean Energy Council (CEC) compliant installer status

- Experience with residential and/or commercial solar installations

- Solid knowledge of Australian electrical and solar standards

- Valid driver’s licence and own basic tools

- White Card and Working at Heights (preferred)

- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
