Role Description The Fabrication Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Perth, WA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day workshop operations and fabrication activities. This role plans and coordinates production schedules, allocates work to fabricators and welders, and monitors progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification. The Fabrication Supervisor leads and supports a fabrication team, provides technical guidance on welding and fabrication methods, and ensures all work complies with safety standards and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include supervising job setup, inspecting fabricated components, troubleshooting production issues,



maintaining tools and equipment standards, and communicating with management and other departments about project status. The role also involves coaching team members, supporting training initiatives, and contributing to process improvements and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.Experience in quality control, inspection of fabricated components, and adherence to industry standards.Proficiency in production planning, workflow coordination, and meeting project deadlines.Hands-on welding and metal fabrication experience, with knowledge of common processes and materials.Ability to train and mentor fabrication and welding staff, supporting skills development and safety awareness.Relevant trade qualification or certificate in fabrication, welding, or a related discipline.Sound understanding of workplace health and safety regulations in a fabrication or workshop environment.Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Experience in an engineering or fabrication workshop setting, preferably in a supervisory or leading hand role.
