Description

- Develop and implement category strategies to achieve procurement goals.
- Manage tender processes and supply decisions
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favourable terms.
- Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and objectives.

Profile

A successful Category Specialist should have:





- Demonstrated experience in an end-to-end procurement role, particularly with the management of tenders, and post-award contract management
- Robust negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Knowledge of supplier relationship management and procurement best practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

- Competitive salary between $130,000 and $140,000 AUD.
- Work-from-home flexibility up to 3 days per week.
