The Role
We are currently seeking a FIFO HD Mechanic to join our team at our Pilbara & Goldfields branch locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply your knowledge and training to carry out mechanical diagnostics, repairs and servicing for equipment breakdowns and field service
- Support workshop operations during off-site periods
- Assist with mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment
- Ensure the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the workshop
- Maintain compliance with Environmental and OS&H; standards
- Liaise with clients to ensure smooth and efficient operations
About You
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Robust knowledge of heavy-duty equipment
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Current driver’s licence (HR preferred)
- Forklift and/or high-risk work licences (desirable)
- Hands-on approach with sound computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing
