REDCap Administrator |Flexible Part time (0.5 FTE) | Hybrid Working Carlton | $90,000 + Super (pro rata)

An opportunity exists for an experienced REDCap Administrator to join a Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team within a leading healthcare and research environment.

This specialist role is responsible for the administration, support and ongoing development of a REDCap platform that underpins clinical, research and operational data collection across the organisation.

Working alongside analytics, data and research stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring REDCap remains a robust, scalable and user-friendly solution while supporting the integration of research data into wider reporting and analytics environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, support and maintain the REDCap platform
- Design, configure and implement REDCap projects and databases
- Provide user support, training and troubleshooting
- Manage user requests, permissions and system administration activities
- Support integration of REDCap data into reporting and analytics platforms
- Assist with database maintenance, upgrades and system enhancements
- Develop documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with research, clinical and operational stakeholders to deliver effective data collection solutions

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience administering and managing REDCap environments
- Experience building, configuring and supporting REDCap projects
- Strong database and data management knowledge




- SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
- Exposure to technologies such as MySQL and/or PHP
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities

Highly Regarded

- Experience within healthcare, hospital, research or clinical environments
- Experience integrating REDCap with other systems or data platforms
- Exposure to data warehousing, reporting or business intelligence environments
- Experience with SQL Server, Power BI or similar technologies

This role is suited to candidates with hands-on REDCap administration experience. We are specifically seeking applicants who have administered, configured, developed or supported REDCap environments.

Experience using REDCap solely as a researcher, clinician or project user will not be considered sufficient for this position. Candidates with database administration, SQL, MySQL and/or PHP experience will be highly regarded.
