- Engineer (graduate or experienced): $82,147.09 - $102,867.25 gross per annum.
- Technical Officer: $90,427.77 - $102,867.25 gross per annum.
- Plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

Note: Position title at commencement is dependent upon individual applicant qualification(s) and experience.
About you
Required for both positions:
- Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
- WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Traffic Management Design (TMD) qualification is desirable.
- Experience providing engineering and technical advice in a civil maintenance setting is desirable.
- Understanding of and commitment to Council’s Organisational Value and Behaviour of Teamwork.
Additional to Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) from an Australian university, or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia.
Additional to Technical Officer:
- Bachelor of Technology in Engineering (Civil), Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering (Civil)
from a recognised University (or equivalent), and/or experience relevant to the role.

About Construction & Maintenance South
The Construction and Maintenance South Branch forms part of the Infrastructure Services Group (ISG)
and is responsible for developing and maintaining community infrastructure including stormwater drainage/culverts, footpath/cycleway and road and bridge infrastructure assets. The primary service objective is to ensure the abovementioned asset classes are developed and maintained in a coordinated and integrated manner. The Construction & Maintenance South Branch plays a crucial role in driving capital and operational works projects across the Darling Downs.
