An exciting opportunity exists for a Quality Advisor to join the delivery team on a major renewable energy project involving the construction of a 133MW wind farm comprising 17 wind turbine generators.
Reporting into the Project Quality team, you will play a key role in ensuring all construction and installation activities comply with project specifications, quality standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site quality inspections during construction
- Monitor contractor workmanship and compliance
- Verify testing documentation and installation records
- Review contractor quality deliverables
- Complete material inspections and handovers
- Coordinate punch list inspections and close-out activities
- Manage non-conformances (NCRs)
- Assist project teams in resolving quality issues
- Maintain quality records and documentation
- Promote a proactive quality culture across the project
Skills & Experience
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in QA/QC or construction quality
- Experience on civil, infrastructure, mining, renewable energy or heavy industrial projects
- Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Experience completing inspections and quality documentation
- Ability to manage contractor quality performance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Previous wind farm experience is highly regarded but not essential.
