Braidwood Multi-Purpose Service is seeking a Registered Nurse for a four-week contract in the Emergency Department, running from 20 July to 19 August 2026. This is a small facility where the successful RN will take on In Charge of Facility responsibilities, providing clinical leadership across the Emergency Department and supporting the Residential Aged Care services as needed. - Lead emergency department operations with In Charge of Facility duties in a small, collaborative setting
- Four-week contract role based in Braidwood, NSW, with flexibility to support aged care services during quieter ED periods
- Bring your ALS, triage expertise,
and cannulation skills to a team that needs experienced clinical leadership
Preferred Requirements
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Demonstrated triage experience and competence in emergency assessment
- Proficiency in cannulation and venepuncture procedures
- Own private vehicle for transport to and from the Braidwood location
- Ability to work independently and manage facility-level responsibilities in a small healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Previous experience in emergency department or acute care settings
