We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food and Beverage Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Food & Beverage Department.

The Hotel

Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is a luxury five-star hotel located beside Marlin Marina and Trinity Inlet in the heart of Cairns. With 255 guest rooms, 19 function venues and extensive food-and-beverage facilities, the property is part of a leading international company with more than 100 hotels and resorts worldwide.

The Role

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee front- and back-of-house restaurant and banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and team engagement. You’ll work closely with the management team to maintain service standards and contribute to a seamless guest experience.

About you:

- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or similar role in a high-volume dining establishment.

- A solid understanding of In Room Dining, bar and event operations, including food and beverage service and customer service principles.





- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Current Valid RSA.

- Possesses the capability to supervise an enthusiastic team, instilling a sense of dedication and shared commitment towards the success of the venue.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Strong negotiation skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
