As a Turnaround Team Member / Yard Hand, you'll play an important role in preparing, maintaining, and supporting our fleet to ensure equipment is ready for customers when they need it.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that supports both workshop and yard operations. You'll assist with equipment preparation, basic maintenance activities, and general depot operations to ensure our fleet is maintained to a high standard and available to meet customer demand and DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) targets.

Working alongside experienced mechanics and workshop personnel, you'll gain valuable exposure to earthmoving equipment and develop practical skills that can support future career progression within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our Turnaround Team, your responsibilities will include:

- Washing and detailing earthmoving equipment

- Preparing machines, attachments, and tools for hire

- Assisting mechanics with basic maintenance and repair tasks

- Loading and unloading equipment for customers and transport providers

- Conducting basic equipment inspections and off-hire checks

- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop and yard environment

- Supporting equipment deliveries, collections, and general yard operations





- Managing workshop consumables and basic stock control

- Following all safety procedures and company standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

- Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn

- Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on workplace

- A strong team player with a positive attitude and safety-first mindset

- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a busy workshop setting

- Experienced in mechanical, automotive, construction, or heavy equipment environments (preferred but not essential)

- Holder of a current C Class Driver's Licence

- Holder of a current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence (preferred but not essential); applicants willing to upgrade will be considered

- Entitled to work in Australia with full working rights
