An opportunity exists to join our Regional VIC Team supporting our Shapparton, Deniliquin and Barnawartha Depots.
The scheduler position is responsible for:-
- Working with our fleet to schedule deliveries to customers whilst adhering to our policies and procedures
- Assisting our customers with enquiries and delivery requests
- Assisting operators with scheduling and operational queries
- Liaising with our customers regarding delivery schedules and service requirements
- Ensuring efficient utilisation of fleet resources while maintaining high levels of customer service
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A strong attention to detail
- Great telephone manner
- The ability to communicate with customers and team members at all levels
- A good geographical knowledge of Victoria
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience in scheduling a fleet of vehicles doing multiple deliveries each day
Experience in the following areas will be favourably considered:-
- An understanding of Secure Work Method Statements
- An understanding of Standard Fatigue Management
- Experience within transport, logistics, fuel distributuion, or related industries
