Uplift Cranes QLD is seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Contracts Administrator to support our crane hire and construction operations. This role suits someone with strong commercial administration experience, ideally gained in tier‑one environments. You’ll manage contract documentation, EOM claims, variations, compliance checks and high‑volume data entry across multiple clients and service packages. This role is fast‑paced, accuracy‑focused and central to our operational success.
Key responsibilities
1. Process EOM claims and high‑volume subcontractor documentation
2. Review dockets, timesheets and schedule‑of‑rates compliance
3. Ensuring all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards
4. Processing contract variations and change orders in a timely and accurate manner
5. Liaising with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders to clarify contract terms and resolve enquiries
6. Supporting the invoicing and payment process by ensuring contractual terms are correctly applied
7. Identifying and flagging potential contract risks or compliance issues to relevant management
8. Assisting with contract renewals, negotiations and administrative updates as required
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience in contracts administration or a similar commercial/administrative role, preferably within construction or crane hire
2. Strong attention to detail and high‑volume data accuracy
3. Experience with EOM claims, progress claims
4. Solid understanding of contract terms, SoR compliance and variations
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (creating spreadsheets & formulas) experience in contract management software an advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external parties
7. Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong collaboration with team members
8. Organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise workload and meet deadlines consistently
9. A methodical approach to problem-solving and the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately
