About the role
Altrad are seeking experienced S26 Scaffold Supervisors for multiple FIFO opportunities from Perth supporting upcoming shutdown works across Australia. Commencing ASAP, these roles will see you lead Scaffolding teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.
As a key site leader, you will provide technical guidance, supervision, and mentorship to your team while driving strong safety performance, quality outcomes, and successful delivery of shutdown scopes.
You’ll join a highly experienced team working across major industrial projects, with the opportunity to contribute to critical works, build your capability, and further develop your career with an organisation that values its people and expertise.
In this role you will:
- Promote and maintain a strong Safety, Health and Environment culture, ensuring compliance with Altrad Golden Rules, client Life Saving Rules, permits to work, risk assessments, and site-specific requirements.
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate Scaffolding crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients, supervisors, and internal stakeholders through proactive communication, progress reporting, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards by ensuring works are completed in line with approved procedures,
inspection requirements, environmental conditions, and client expectations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, supporting workforce development, capability uplift, and a positive team culture.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, supporting planning activities, and assisting with the successful delivery of shutdown scopes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Schedule 26 Appointed Person qualification and successful completion of the DMIRS exam.
- Current High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – SA ticket.
- Proven site-based experience within mining, construction, oil & gas, or similar heavy industry environments.
- Previous experience supervising or Scaffolding teams, with 3+ years’ industry experience highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of shutdown execution, site safety requirements, permit systems, and risk management processes.
- Confident digital capability, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to complete reports, risk assessments, and job documentation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence teams, build effective relationships, and work collaboratively with clients and site stakeholders.
- A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and support both site-based and operational requirements.
