About the role

This is a hands-on Sales Manager role with full accountability for sales, people, and operations. With a lean team of 2-3 staff, you will be on the floor daily, leading from the front and actively selling. The business is prepared to pay above market for the right candidate with proven furniture experience and a strong track record of results.

Key responsibilities

- Achieve and exceed store sales targets alongside your team

- Lead by example on the shop floor with confident, consultative selling

- Manage day-to-day showroom operations and presentation standards

- Train, coach, and motivate a small, high-performing team

- Plan rosters for approval while ensuring sales targets and operations are met

- Maintain strong customer relationships and repeat business

- Essential: Proven experience as a leader in furniture retail





- Strong consultative sales capability and understanding of long lead-time sales

- Confident managing a lean team while remaining highly hands-on

- Commercial mindset with a focus on results and accountability

- Professional, composed leadership style with strong floor presence

- Weekend work is required!
