Medirecruit is currently seeking an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a leading tertiary health service located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
This is an excellent chance to join a high-performing surgical team within a busy coastal referral hospital providing comprehensive maxillofacial, trauma, and head & neck services to a growing and diverse population.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will contribute across a broad respiratory medicine service with a particular focus on:
- Management of facial trauma and complex reconstructive cases
- Oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures across a broad caseload
- Head and neck pathology assessment and surgical management
- Orthognathic and dentoalveolar surgery
- Participation in trauma, ENT, plastics, and oncology multidisciplinary teams
- Teaching, supervision, and clinical leadership within a tertiary setting
The role offers strong procedural exposure and the opportunity to contribute to service development within a high-demand surgical environment.

About You:
- Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Broad experience across OMFS, including trauma and reconstruction
- Strong technical surgical skills and clinical judgement
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities
- Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia (or ability to obtain)
