With over 25 years of experience supplying to BHP and all contractors to the Olympic dam mine site and surrounding regions, our team specialises in all aspects of procurement.
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage inventory levels, coordinate stock movements, and keep our supply chain running smoothly. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy and supporting our warehouse and purchasing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all locations
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse staff, and purchasing teams to coordinate stock replenishment
- Identify slow-moving or excess stock and recommend action
- Maintain organised,
protected and efficient storage areas
- Generate stock reports and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Ordering of stock
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehousing desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of inventory management systems
- Solid numerical and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to lift and move stock as required
This role is for both branches – Australian Supply Group and Mitre 10.
There is possibility for DIDO 2 and 1 roster, and/or a 5 and 2 roster.
