We are establishing a brand new, state-of-the-art medical centre in the heart of Gungahlin, one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the nursing direction of a recent general practice if you're an experienced nurse, or work within a fresh team in a mordern GP practice if you're a graduate nurse. We have several opportunities available and will be conducting interviews on a rolling basis until positions are filled.

- Previous experience in coordinating and reviewing Chronic Disease Management plans in a GP setting

- Passion and experience in supporting elderly patients in their health journey by undertaking Health Assessments, including home visits.

- Able to use initiative to manage own workload and optimise bookings

- Strong work ethic and able to commit to permanent role within the clinic.

- Enthusiastic for continued learning and teaching.





- Strong communication skills including accurate and comprehensive documentation.

- The ability to cover annual leave and take on additional shifts as required is essential

- Current AHPRA registration, Police Clearance, CPR certificate, SA child/vulnerable person clearance

Core skills (not a requirement):

- Health Assessment and Care Planning

- Wound care management

- Immunisation (children, adults), and knowledge cold chain storage and vaccine management

- ECG, spirometry, ear syringing, iron infusions.

- Assisting in minor surgery clinics and women’s contraceptive procedures

- It is expected that you will contribute to the recall system and development of our clinical protocols, working towards ongoing accreditation, and summation of medical records

- In addition, at busy times to help in other areas of the business such as reception/admin duties
