We are seeking a Kitchen All Rounder to join the team at Al's Pizza in Cronulla, NSW. This is a casual position offering flexibility whilst being part of a rapid-paced, dynamic kitchen environment. As a Kitchen All Rounder, you will be a versatile team member capable of working across multiple kitchen stations and supporting the preparation of our delicious pizza offerings and other menu items. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy hospitality setting and is eager to develop their culinary skills.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and assembling pizzas,pastas and other menu items to Al's Pizza standards

Operating kitchen equipment including ovens, preparation surfaces and other cooking machinery

Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with food handling regulations

Supporting the kitchen team across various stations including prep, cooking and plating

Receiving, storing and organising ingredients and supplies

Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, surfaces and utensils

Working efficiently during peak service times to meet customer demand

Following recipes and plating instructions to ensure consistency and quality

Communicating effective with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Assisting with stock management and reporting low inventory levels

What we’re looking for

Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, particularly within a fast‑casual or pizza restaurant setting (preferred but not essential)

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy service periods





Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining food quality and presentation standards

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications

Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen duties

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Flexibility and reliability with casual scheduling

Passion for hospitality and delivering great customer experiences

Enthusiasm to learn new skills and grow within the role
