NTC Contracting is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team supporting maintenance and construction activities in remote mining camp environments on a 2:1 roster. The role involves a diverse range of carpentry maintenance, repair and installation work, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional and maintained to a high standard.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide variety of carpentry tasks across accommodation facilities, buildings, workshops and associated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building maintenance and repairs

- Door replacements and lockset installations

- Wall lining repairs and replacements

- Flooring, roofing and flashing repairs

- Plasterboard ceiling repairs and replacements

- Cabinetry, cupboards and drawer repairs

- Framing and partition construction

- Interpreting plans and specifications

- Selecting and ordering materials

- Ensuring all work complies with relevant building standards and client requirements

- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work area at all times.

From time to time, successful applicants may also assist with civil and plant operations where required by project demands.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Essential Requirements

- Minimum 1 year carpentry experience





- Current White Card

- Current C Class Driver's Licence

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Ability to read plans, set out works and work independently

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Highly Regarded

- First Aid Certificate

- Excavator, Skid Steer or Loader operating tickets

- HR Driver's Licence

- Experience working on mining, industrial or remote site projects
