Senior Planner | Mining Rehabilitation Project

Contract until March 2027 | Perth-based | EPCM Environment

Our client, a leading EPCM organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a major mining rehabilitation and closure project. This long-term contract opportunity will see you supporting the final stages of a high-profile site rehabilitation program, working with a range of contractors and stakeholders to successfully deliver the remaining scope of works.

This role is ideal for a planner who enjoys taking ownership of project schedules and thrives in a mature project environment, rather than a traditional construction or build phase project.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6Lead planning and scheduling activities across rehabilitation, clearing, remediation, and site closure worksCoordinate with contractors and project teams to ensure accurate progress tracking and forecastingIdentify schedule risks, constraints, and critical path impactsPrepare reporting and schedule updates for project stakeholdersSupport project controls activities and contribute to overall project delivery outcomes

About You

Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Project Planner within the mining sectorStrong proficiency with Primavera P6Ability to independently own and manage complex project schedulesExperience working within an EPCM environmentExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsRio Tinto project experience will be highly regardedPrevious exposure to mine closure, rehabilitation, decommissioning, demolition,



or remediation projects is advantageous, but not essential
