This is a rare find in regional NSW. A surgical ward role at a well-established private hospital, Monday to Friday only, no weekends, no public holidays, and three weeks off over Christmas.

The role

You will be working across a surgical ward, day surgery and admissions in a purpose-built private hospital with a strong team culture and a genuine focus on patient outcomes. The case mix is broad, covering orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, endoscopy and interventional pain.

Minimum 64 hours per fortnight. The ward runs Monday to Friday. When the ward is quiet, you rotate into day surgery or admissions, so there is genuine variety built into the role.

What you will need

- Current AHPRA registration
- At least 3 years post-graduate nursing experience, preferably in a perioperative setting or on a surgical ward
- Flexibility across ward, day surgery and admissions

Performance Objectives

- Deliver Ward, Day Surgery and Admissions Coverage: Work flexibly across surgical ward, day surgery and admissions as the roster requires.
- Support a Broad Case Mix: Care for patients across orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, endoscopy and interventional pain.
- Maintain Patient-Focused Care: Bring a genuine focus on patient outcomes within a strong team culture.
- Adapt to Variety: Rotate confidently between areas when the ward is quiet.

You will join a purpose-built private hospital in regional NSW (Albury/Wodonga), working across a surgical ward with a strong team culture, Monday to Friday, with no weekend or public holiday shifts.
