Cobdenhealth Part-time Position , 0.4 EFT (2 Days Per Week) | Flexible Days | $55 per Hour

Help older people live safely, independently and with confidence at home and in care.

Cobdenhealth is seeking an experienced and motivated Part-time Occupational Therapist to establish and grow our Support at Home Occupational Therapy service, while also supporting residents within our Residential Aged Care service as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys autonomy, variety and meaningful work. Working approximately two days per week (0.4 EFT), you will primarily support older people living at home to maintain independence, safety and quality of life through occupational therapy assessments, assistive technology recommendations, home modifications and reablement-focused interventions. The role may also provide occupational therapy support and assessments for residents within our Residential Aged Care service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Primary Health, you will:

- Conduct functional, mobility, home safety and occupational therapy assessments.

- Recommend assistive technology, equipment and home modifications.

- Support older people to remain safe, independent and engaged in meaningful daily activities.

- Prepare occupational therapy reports and funding recommendations.

- Work collaboratively with participants, residents, carers, families and health professionals.

- Provide occupational therapy advice and support within both Support at Home and Residential Aged Care settings.

- Contribute to service development, continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.

About You

You will bring:

- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.

- Current AHPRA registration. NDIS screening check

- Experience in community, residential aged care, rehabilitation or related settings.

- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report writing skills.

- The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- A current Victorian Driver Licence.
