The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of commercial construction sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site activities
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
- Maintain strict compliance with WHS and quality requirements
- Conduct site meetings and liaise with clients and consultants
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively
- Maintain site records and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure projects are delivered on time
About You
- A hands-on site leader who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys building strong relationships with your team and stakeholders.
- Previous experience leading commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and quality finishes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams
- Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices
- Current Construction White Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field
