The City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking an experienced IT Project and Delivery Manager to lead the implementation of the Attekus platform across community, cultural and commercial operations. This project will replace multiple fragmented systems and processes with a single platform for venue bookings, event management, ticketing and other related capabilities, delivering a more consistent customer experience and a simpler way of working for staff.
You will lead a small cross-functional team, working with business stakeholders, vendors and technical specialists to take the project from the current high-level scope through detailed planning and implementation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across project management, business analysis and delivery leadership.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of the Attekus implementation from detailed planning through to go-live, working closely with stakeholders, technical SME’s and vendor resources. You will validate requirements, analyse business processes, contribute to solution design and manage project plans, risks, dependencies and governance. You will also oversee testing, implementation and business readiness activities while supporting practical decision-making to keep the project on track.
What you’ll bring
You will have experience leading end-to-end SaaS or business application implementations, supported by strong project management and business analysis skills. You are comfortable working with vendors, business stakeholders and cross-functional teams and can confidently move between planning, requirements gathering, testing, change impacts and implementation activities. Your sound judgement, strong communication skills and a pragmatic, hands-on approach to delivery will also set you up well for success in our team.
