About the role

Douglas TS Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced MC Tipper Driver to join our road transport team on a full-time basis. Based in Young, NSW, this role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of materials across our service routes. As an MC Tipper Driver, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a tipper truck, managing loads, and delivering exceptional service to our clients whilst adhering to all road safety regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

- Operate a MC tipper truck safely and efficiently, following all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is roadworthy and report any mechanical issues promptly

- Load, secure, and unload materials safely, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and load restraint requirements

- Communicate professionally with clients, dispatch, and team members to ensure timely and productive service delivery

- Operate the tipper mechanism safely and correctly to avoid damage to the vehicle and surrounding property

- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times

- Comply with all traffic laws, fatigue management regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements

What we're looking for

- A valid Australian MC driving licence with a clean driving history

- Proven experience operating tipper trucks in a commercial road transport environment

- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, vehicle maintenance requirements and load management practices





- Excellent mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues

- A commitment to punctuality, reliability and maintaining high standards of professionalism

- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules

- A proactive approach to health and safety, with a willingness to report hazards and follow all safety protocols

- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks associated with loading and unloading

- Preferably, experience with digital logbooks and delivery management systems

- Preferably, a current Heavy Combination Vehicle (HCV) or additional transport qualifications
