Urban Charge Electrical is looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our growing team.
We specialise predominantly in commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout Melbourne, including commercial fit-outs, warehouses, schools, retail, data and communications, switchboards and electrical infrastructure.
We have a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and are looking for someone who wants a long-term position with the opportunity to grow with the business.
The Role
You'll be involved in a variety of commercial electrical projects including:
Commercial electrical installations
Lighting and lighting control systems
Power installations
Switchboards and submains
Data and communications
Underground electrical infrastructure
Testing and commissioning
Supervising apprentices where required
Reading drawings and working independently on-site
What We're Looking For
Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
Current driver's licence
Solid commercial electrical experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Good workmanship and attention to detail
Reliable and able to work independently
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a small team
Someone who takes pride in their work
Experience with DALI lighting controls, commercial switchboards, data/comms or project-based commercial construction would be highly regarded.
What We Offer
$50–$65 per hour + super, depending on experience
