Are you a passionate Speech Pathologist looking for flexibility, work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact?
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to work for one of our hospital clients on a locum basis until mid September. You will be required to work full time hours and must have previous hospital experience.
About the role:
Provide assessments, intervention and ongoing management for aged care and home care clients
Conduct swallowing and dysphagia assessments and develop evidence – based management plans
Provide recommendations regarding safe swallowing strategies, texture modified diets and mealtime support
Support clients with communication and cognitive communication needs where appropriate
Liaise with carers, families, nursing staff dietitians and other healthcare specialists to optimize client outcomes
Complete clinical documentation, reports, care plans and fund related documentation as required

About you:
Relevant Tertiary Education as a Speech Pathologist (Bachelor)
Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia
Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and manage a adaptable caseload
