O'Neil Transport is a successful, regionally based transport business. Our fleet of heavy commercial vehiclesare serviced and maintained by a team of diesel mechanics in our well set out and up-to-date facility.

The fleet consists mainly of Kenworth and Isuzu plant and BPW Trailer equipment.

Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic; workshop experience desirable

Skills/Experience
Experience in the service & repair of heavy transport equipment
Diagnostic skills experience would be an advantage
Experience in both Cat and Cummins is preferable but not essential

The Role
You will be productive and capable of prioritizing both routine and unexpected jobs
Maintenance of a contemporary fleet of Kenworth trucks and Isuzu rigids
Service of Trailer equipment with BPW suspension and axles.
You will need to sign off on work for roadworthiness as being completed & safe




You will actively contribute to ensuring that all workplace safety policies & procedures are maintained and followed at all times

You are experienced in the service & repair of heavy haulage equipment or mobile plant
You are committed to ensuring a safe workplace
You are well organized
You are able to troubleshoot and resolve issues
You are a quick worker and can deliver on time and look beyond a 'quick fix'
You have a keen eye for detecting issues and repair needs before they become problematic
