We're looking for a high-quality receptionist to join our team at Penrith Podiatry Foot & Ankle Clinic.

/n

This role is suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and takes pride in running a front desk properly. You won't be micromanaged, but you will be expected to think, take ownership, and keep things running smoothly.

/n

We're a busy, clinically focused practice with a solid reputation. Patients often come to us after failed treatment elsewhere, so the standard of care, communication, and overall experience matters.

/n

You'll be working alongside an experienced receptionist in a structured setup, with support from a close-knit team across multiple clinic locations.

The role

Welcoming patients and maintaining a calm, professional front desk

/n
Managing phones, enquiries, and appointment bookings

/n
Coordinating multiple practitioner diaries (Cliniko)

/n
Ensuring patient details and documentation are accurate and up to date

/n
Processing payments (HICAPS, Medicare, DVA)

/n
Handling Medicare via Medipass

/n
General admin (scanning, filing, correspondence)

/n
Basic sterilisation and instrument handling

/n




Monitoring and ordering clinic and admin supplies

What we're looking for

Highly organised with robust attention to detail

/n
Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner

/n
Able to manage multiple tasks without losing structure

/n
Comfortable with systems and learning quickly

/n
Reliable, consistent, and accountable

/n
Previous medical or allied health reception experience

/n
Familiarity with HICAPS, Medicare, or Cliniko.

/n/n

/n
Minimum of 2 years medical or allied health reception experience is required

/n
Processing Workers Compensation claims and NDIS

/n/n

Hours

/n

Flexibility to cover leave and sick days is required.

/n

A driver's licence and car are required, as there may be occasional travel between our Penrith and Glenmore Park clinics.

/n

This role suits someone who values structure, takes ownership, and thrives in a well-run, qualified environment. The position will commence on a casual basis, with a pathway to permanency following a successful trial period.
